Ok, so you have been to a couple of beer festivals maybe more... Perhaps you have even been to Stogie and Stout. This is something completely different.

We are assembling an assortment of IPA's and DIPA's that will leave your bitter beer face on for days! Spicy food to compliment these "Hop Bombs" will be served, can you take the heat?

* What is an IPA and DIPA might you ask? - Well, in a nutshell IPA is India Pale Ale, a term that comes from the British during their extended time in India. Hops being a natural preservant we used in copious amounts to help the beer last the long trip from England to India. Double India Pale Ale or DIPA is a double strength version of the above.These beers are generally lighter in color with an intense hop presence by the way of floral, grassy, citrusy, flavors, aroma, and bitterness the latter being the emphasis for a majority of American Microbrewers. Traditional styles, (which are British) are softer in flavor balance. Maltyness is light to dominant for balance due to the excessive hoppiness. For some an aquired taste, for hopheads..An obsession!

The other kicker?

The first hour and a half will be a BLIND tasting, so you will only be able to taste by number... Which will be your favorite? People's Choice voting will be decided only with the tounge, vote for your favorite and get a chance to win a coveted Dunedin Brewery liter mug, and a $50 bar tab along with some other brewery schwag!
