For almost 10 years south Florida’s Fusik has been devoted to writing and performing high energy funk, soul, latin and psychedelic rock infused grooves that keep their audiences moving.
Fusik’s modern brand of funk is influenced by its members mutual musical taste in classic artists such as James Brown, Booker T and the MGs, The Meters, Santana and Talking Heads to name a few.
Formed at a house party in 2005, Fusik has since performed throughout Florida and played shows at events across the US, Europe and Mexico. The boys have also shared the stage with the likes of: KRS One, N.E.R.D, Blues Traveler, Dopapod, Karl Denson, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Orgone and many more.
Fusik’s independent releases include their first album, “Only a Few Are Sick” (2006), “Hot Skillet” (2010) and “Fusik III” (2013). Fusik also released a 45′ single titled “On the Fly” in the summer of 2012 and plan to debut their new single, “Can’t Let you Go” as part of their “Florida Funk” record series December 2013.
